Over the years, two of our members have done a commendable activity in their community by investing their time and effort into the lives of local children. They call it Community Bible Time (CBT), where children gather regularly at their home for the purpose of exposing the young children to the Word of God, discipling them the ways of Christ, and enjoying fellowship with one another in a safe environment.

In addition to their regular meetings, CBT has gone on several outings that quite likely the children may have not otherwise ever taken, such as swimming, bowling, and even community clean-up day. What is more, this past year, they went on their first camping trip at Fort McAllister in Richmond Hill, GA. To the forrest and the trees, these 10 or more children went accompanied by three adult chaperones. The children had a blast, cooking over an open fire, climbing the trees and outlook posts, as well as hearing God's Word and playing games. All had a wonderful time.

CBT will continue to meet this year at the home of Dan & Marcia Metts. If you are interested in helping or participating in this ministry, please speak with one of them. They would love to have you on their team and seeing the children having more mentors to teach them and take them on special outings.
